Sync Problems

Have Outlook 02 (Office XP) on Desktop and Pocket Pc 02 on Ipaq 3970.
Sync with Activesync 3.7

For long time had no problems syncing outlook info.
Recently added more categories in Outlook for business,
Now after syncing, the Ipaq is not picking up all of the new
categories.
No probs with older categories, only the new.
After fiddling around able to picked up a couple of the new ones but
should i change them later this is not refelected on the ipaq.

Not sure if this is releated,
Created a new recurring appointment on the ipaq,
synced, then deleted it (on ipaq or pc cant remember).
Only later to find out i had to re-enter it.
When i synced them. Message came up that duplicate items were
present.
Selected to remove them.
Found out later these appointments (I refer to appointments created
above) were completely deleted and not duplicates.
Re-entered them and it states their is a conflict of appointments.
This does not show this on the calendars.
This has happened on a couple of occasions and is becoming more
regular.

Have done a hard reset on ipaq, uninstalled activesync numerous times,
and done detect & repair on Outlook as well as uninstalling Office XP.
Still the problems persist.

Searched all the KB's and came up blank.

Please help.

Since this is an activesync issue, try posting this to
microsoft.public.pocketpc.activesync as the folks there are more experienced
with that piece of software.
