Help

Is there any way in outlook that I can send an email to a real fax machine?
Not any fax software. I have an employee who does not own a pc and no
internet access. I need to send him documents every day. Can I use his fax
number as an email address?

Any ideas or suggestions

Thanks

Tom

Yes. Outlook can integrate with fax software. If you need a more specific
answer, then you must post at least some information: Outlook version,
operating system, fax modem type would be the least you should have posted.

Are you telling me I need a fax software on my PC?

Maybe I did not explain myself

I am using Outlook 2002 SP3 on Windows XP Pro SP2

My customer has a fax machine (NOT SOFTWARE) DOES NOT HAVE INTERNET ACCESS

I have A PC I want to send a EMAIL to his FAX MACHINE

I this possible?

His fax number is 555-555-5555

I guess can you email to a phone number

I know how to email to a phone for text messages but they go thru a cell
phone system

I know tell him to get a pc and internet right?

Any ideas?

Thanks

You are trying to send a fax from your computer, right? Outlook is messaging
software that runs on a computer, right? How were you proposing to fax from
Outlook when you do not have fax software? It is irrelevant what your
recipient has. You can send a fax to any valid fax number, whether that is a
fax modem or a fax machine. But you can't fax from a computer without fax
software.
