Outllook flashes until I manage to shut it

I have recently done a fresh install of Vista Home and Office 2007 if I try
to send an e-mail to multiple contacts the programme goes crazy constantly
flashing and showing sending e-mail hundreds of time though the e-mail is
not sent usually explorer crashes and I have to do a hard re-boot if I then
delete the e-mail and run scanpst.

If I delete display as from the contact information I can e-mail fine. Has
anyone an answer to this as this has never happened to me in many years of
using various incarnations of Outlook.

Thanks

Steve

You did a clean install of Vista, why?
Did you then install your chipset and other drivers supplied with your PC,
or did you rely on msupdate?

Hi DL,

My graphics card failed but blundering around before I discovered this was
the cause meant I had to re-install.

I have all vista and office updates and all drivers for MB nothing else is
acting up the rest of office is working fine I have tried a repair of office
from the disk but it hasn't made any difference I have also run scanpst.

Providing I delete display as in contacts so that full e-mail addresses are
included in the To and CC boxes of an e-mail it works OK..

Thanks for your response

Steve
