Outllook contacts does not show up in distr

When I create new names or when someone sends me a new
contact, some of the names do not show up in my
distribution list. why?
 
You provided no information. State your Outlook version and the steps you
used to put these addresses in a Distribution List. You're making us try to
read your mind.
