I'm having and issue where Outllook '03 will not print emails that are
in html format. It does print plain text emails. Has anyone else come
accross this and found a solution.

Make sure you use File, Print on the menu and the selection box comes up to
confirm & select a printer, plus more selections. Don't use the print icon
since your printer setting might be incorrect. It might say Fax print or
something else.

I had tried that, however that didn't seem to fix the issue. I have
since created a new registry key that should open all new mail as plain
text. But this doesn't affect all of the email that have been recieved
prior. And I haven't tested this solution fully yet so I don't know if
this will solve my issue.

Then check your printer settings in Outlook. It will use the default printer
and that might be incorrect. You should not tamper with the registry to
correct an Outlook problem.

The default printer is fine, that is not the issue. Outlook has known
issues with printing html. I found the article on the MS white pages
and adding a registry key will not screw up a machine. I work with the
registry when needed and I've never screwed it up. Does anyone have a
more valid response then check default printer, like a better work
arround, or is having it open all email as plain text the only work
around for this issue

If you find the answer, let me know, because I just ran into this issue
today myself.

This is what I added to the registry for a workaround for my issue.
However, this solution requires you to add a key to the registry, and
use at your own risk.

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\10.0\Outlook\Options\Mail
Add a DWORD of READASPLAIN=1
