outgoing msgs moved to "Date: None"

Using WIN XP 2003, Outlook for email. Brand new Dell
8300.

Frequently some of my outgoing messages will be moved
from the current date group to "Date: None", and cannot
be transmitted nor moved back. I've tried re-sending, re-
booting, reading Q & A and nothing helps.
