outgoing message stuck, blocking in and outbox. help?

I tried to send a very big e-mail containing pictures and video to family,
but it's too big to get sent. At the moment it's stuck in my outbox and
blocking all outgoing and some incoming messages. I've tried a million times
to right click it and then delete, but nothing happens. If I try to double
click it a message saying something like "can't be opened, outlook has
already startet to transmit this message" pops up. It's been like this for
about a month....

Help???

Rediculous eh? I agree.

the way i've worked around this, is to close outlook (it'll ask you if you
want to close with a message pending for send - just click yes). then wait
a while for outlook to actually close (see processes in task manager) - once
outlook.exe is no longer showing in task manager processes, restart outlook.
quickly, before it has time to try to send your message again, jump to
Outbox and delete the message.

Crazy....... not only locking up an outbound message, but how long it
takes to actually close outlook. and the speed at which it now runs - fully
bloated and severerly poor performance. as a developer, I'd be embarrassed
to have such a release out on the market. geesh.

Click File and check "Work Offline". CLose and restart Outlook. Delete the
message. Click File and uncheck "Work Offline".

I too have this problem. Neither of the recommend actions fixed the problem,
does anyone have any other suggestions?

At least one of the methods on the web page DIane cites (method 3) is
GUARANTEED to work.
