Outgoing mail

I have a message stuck in my outbox and no amount of attempting to delete it
has worked IN OVER 3 DAYS - everytime I exit my email, it says I have a
message waiting to be sent that Outlook has already started sending - so it's
in the middle of it! How can I delete it? Outlook 2003 - Windows XP

Click FIle>Work Offline, stop and restart Outlook. You should then be able
to delete the message from the Outbox.
