OutBox not deleting sent messages???

I have added my newest email to Outlook. But now whenever I send peopl
messages the outlook outbox isn't deleting them so that they ar
probably getting sent again every time I send and recieve. Is there an
way I can stop this???

My friend got the email I sent him 13 times the other day!!! And also
how would I get it so that the send and recieve box comes up when
click on send and recieve. I did tell it to not show the box when i
sends and recieves, but I would like it back
