I have the same problem now and then. Theres no obvious
reason but it just will not go! The easy option is to
open a new mail and copy all from the first mail and paste
it into the new mail and send it. This hasnt failed...yet!
I have exactly the same problem, as explained in another thread, with
Outlook 2003 (XP Pro as well). Certain messages go in to the Outbox
but they do not get queued to send. They do not appear in italics.
I can open them and click on Send to my heart's content. They never
get queued. They just appear in the Outbox.
I found that easier than copying and pasting is to right-click on the
message in the Outbox and select Forward. The message opens with
exactly the same recipients and then if I hit send the message gets
queued. I then send it and go back and delete the original message
which is still sitting in the Outbox but not queued.
Rather frustrating and time-consuming however it's always re-assuring,
albeit somewhat, to learn that I'm not alone!
