out of sync?

Hi,

My friend's OS is Microsoft Windows XP Professional (not Service Pack 1).

Specs of PC: Motherboard Gigabyte 8INXP, 1Gb of DDR333 Ram, Western Digital
80GB 8Mb buffer 7200RPM ATA100 connected to RAID.

His video card is an ATI All-in-Wonder Radeon 8500 128DDR AGP with the
lastest drivers.

His soundcard is Creative SoundBlaster Audigy Platinum with the latest
drivers.

He was recording/transferring his Camcorder video thru firewire (IEE1394) to
his computer. And when he plays it on his computer, the sound is
"out-of-sync" with his video.

Any suggestions what's causing this?

Thanks in advance.

What's he using to view the video? I had this happen with a Pinnacle
TV Tuner card and it was their crap software that caused it. I used a
free TV viewing software and there was no issue.
