out of office assistant

i can get out of office to work with exchange server 2003
with windows 2003 INTERNALLY, but it will not reply to
EXTERNAL addresses. Is there a way for it to do that or
is that not something supported?

Charles - ask your IT people if they have disabled Out of Office for
external use - it's often done that way so that spammers aren't replied to.

I have the same problem, but cannot find the configuration option you refer to, i.e. where in Exchange Server set-up can I authorise auto-replies to external addresses
