out of office assistant not sending out responses to external emai

I have Outlook 2002 on Win XP Pro computers on a SBS 2003 server with
Exchange Server on it. The out of office assistant is not sending out
responses to external email accounts. It will send a reply to internal
addresses in my domain.
Please let me know if anyhting can be done to so it will send out a reply to
external email addresses.

This is something that is handled at the Exchange end. Replies to the
internet are turned off by default. Please speak to your Exchange
Administrator. It may be company policy to have this feature turned off.
