Out of office assistant and external email

I use Outlook 2003 w/ Exchange server 2003. When I activate the Out of Office
Assistant internal users receive my Out of Office reply but not external
email users. What can I do so that external users also receive my Out of
Office reply?
 
Talk to your Exchange administrators. They are apparently blocking external out-of-office replies.

That's an Exchange setting. Exchange, by default, does not allow OOA
replies to external addresses to prevent mail loops.
