Out of memory errors

Whenever I copy and paste serveral charts in Excel 97 I
get out of memory errors. I suspect that it has some
thing to do with the clipboard filling up. Is there a way
to increase the buffer size of the clipboard. Does office
97 use windows clipboard or office clipboard? Thanks...
