Question for AD experts ,

If i move an object i.e. a user into a seperate OU , what are the
consequences with rights permissions and exchange. I want to implement a
different group policy for our laptop users , and hence want to move them to
a seperate OU. How should I go about doing this.

That is what the OU is for. Create an OU to apply a group policy on, then
add the computers/users you want affected by the group policy (right click
object and select move) to the OU.
