"Others Are Logged On To This Computer..." Shutdown Message

I and others I know keep getting that "others are logged on to this computer,
if you shutdown now others may lose date..." or words to that effect.

I know others are not logged on to my computer, but what IS causing that
message to appear and what do I need to change to get it to go way??

Thanks!

I don't know what causes it, but I have had it on a number
of occasions, and I just kill it; and after it's been turned
off several times, it usually goes away.

It's not hurting anything-- as far as I know-- so I wouldn't
worry about it.

By "kill it", I mean I usually do a system reset (Reset
button), or I simply hit the off switch on the back of the
computer to "crash" out of it.

This causes a "cold" restart, and it's been my experience
that this will fix the problem.

Good luck!

Right - I know it's not "hurting" anything, but I was hoping somebody could
explain why it appears and based on the "why" then I can perhaps make changes
so that it doesn't appear.

My standard answer of "don't worry about it" to my office mates is wearing
thin...

during micrsofts lawsuit with the fed, the feds were able to hack into

Porn police can now go into any computer and analyze the searching history

Since the Soviet Union was dispersed the government does not have to sell
freedom any longer. They only have to load the store shelves with goods.

I would try to get Gookles search bar off your computer.

I have an HP Deskjet 810c printer. It ran out of ink, so I just change
the cartridge with 'hp 45 Black' but it didn't work. A light keep
blinking. Do I need to buy another kind of cartridge appropriate fo
the Deskjet 810c? Any comments/solution
