Hello ,
I have a mgr that accesses other usrers calendars. Everyones operates fine
except one user.....the ony way she can access this one is via :
FILE--> OPEN--> OTHER USERS MAILBOX--CALENDAR
then it will open fine......... all others will open right from the folder
list. But each time you try to open this one you get the assistant popping
up stating that mailbox cannot be accessed and possibly sonething about not
finding a data file...we have recheck all the various permissions ad nausium
I cant understand what would make the foderlist icon non operational

any help would be appreciated

Please post the EXACT error message and describe what you are doing when it
happens.

Which version are you running?

I have office 2003
Another is running office xp

We solved the error message this was due to not having any permissions of
the users mailbox...only the calendar....... so now there are no
errors....but what we get is..... an icon for the users mailbox on the folder
list with a plus sign besided it ( so for so good) indicating this folder
can be expanded.....but when you click on it it does not expand to show the
calendar icon....the mailbox "launches" and the right hand side of the screen
looks like a completey empty inbox....with all the inbox headers everything
is greyed out there are no items ( kind of makes some sense since I dont
have any permissions to this persons inbox) ...... but this is where we
are .......it now boils down to the calendar icon is not displayed under
the other users mailbox folder....the program seems to think that something
should be there thus providing a plus sign next to the mailbox folder
icon....... but we are still trying to figure out why the calendar icon is
not displayed....and yes we do have "folder visable" selected as one of the
permissions possibly that permission even though seleted, is not being
activated......we still can do FILE OPEN and accesss it that way bonzerooo

Thanks
