(OT You can beta test Office 2010

G

gene

you can get it here

http://www.microsoft.com/office/2010/en/default.aspx

I picked the for home, small business and school one
the beta expires on 10-21-2010
Read the requirements before downloading it
it will run on xp, vista and Windows 7

Thanks, Robin. I took the bait and it downloaded successfully (with
Opera 10.52RC4 no less), but it never asked about update vs customize
per the online FAQ; rather, it just installed it separately
(thankfully). One thing tho, where is the Office 2010 program folder
located?

Anyone know where the 2010 help site is or a forum for it? I
use MailWasher Pro and Outlook is now opening every time I process
mail. Yet, in the Control Panel > ... Set Program Access & Defaults,
Outlook is not even listed among the choices. Guess it is a beta...

When I posted on an MS Office newsgroup about my email problem, now
solved, an MVP replied that the beta is all but history, that the RTM
was released today and the retail version should be on shelves in a
week. I guess we can call the beta a several month preview.

Jewish Woman,

You must be the only stupid Jewish woman to have done this on a day
when final version have been released today to us on MSDN. The
Volume License Holders should get theirs on 28th and nutters like you
in May.

Now concentrate on Spyware issues and not on Office products because
you are completely foolish and inapt.

Jack Ass, you picked your name appropriately. There's an alt.trash
group beckoning you.

The word is "inept," not "inapt." If there were such a word, it would apply
to you.

I know it was going out of beta but I wanted to test it anyway especially
since it expires in Oct and I did not realize yet that Microsoft was making
it rtm yet. The official MS newsgroup I belong to originally said that the
rtm was not coming out till the end of June and the stores would get it come
July. Microsoft changed their minds- and I feel too soon because the forums
are still stating there are problems already with the rtm.
So I guess I am not so stupid :p

Actually there is such a word: Shorter Oxford Dictionary defines
inapt adjective.
1 Not suitable; inappropriate.
2 Unskilful, awkward.
inaptly adverb
inaptness noun

otherwise I agree with your comment.
