dragged to another location on the taskbar? In Windows 7? Or maybe

Did you unlock it first ?

I don't know exactly what you want to do, but there are a couple
techniques mentioned here.

Maybe I should of said "program buttons".

In Windows XP, the "taskbar" is a bar that usually goes across the
bottom of the screen. The "system tray" is usually to the right
of the "taskbar" where the "clock" is

You can click on a program button to minimize or restore a window,
or right click to close a window.

A program button is about the same thing as a tab. Click-and-drag
arrangement of tabs is a basic feature of most other software,
even free software.

I guess Windows 7 is better, maybe someday I will get there.
