I just did a fresh install of Win ME on a friends computer and can't change
the display resolution from 600x400. I've used two differents monitors and
changed drivers nothing helps. Has anyone seen this before and come up with
a solution.
TIA

And what does the display driver say it is when you look in device
manager? Does what it says there match what you believe the display
adapter/graphics card to be?

It shows the generic driver, this is an older Compaq so I'm assuming the
video is built in. I can't see an AGP port so if it needs a video card it
would have to be PCI.
