[OT] Superantispyware False Positive?

R

RobbL

Just ran a complete scan using SASW [latest version, all updates etc. and it
came up with a number of files of the Trojan.Agent/Gen-Krpytik variety in
C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\C4808XA2.DLL. There are 12 different DLLs showing a
problem.

Does anyone know if this is a FALSE POSITIVE ?

I've come up with that and two or three others recently with SAS,
including one, maybe the Krpytik, in a Dr. Watson file. He had a write
up saying that the claim is very false. In that case I just bypassed
the warning. Sometimes these show up in Sys Restore folders, which are
hard to extract the file from to send for testing.
