OT: Newsgroup behaviour Part II

I know I should not start a new thread but read on...

I posted a message to this ng, which I accessed from msnews.microsoft.com,
at about 6:14PM commenting that the latest message I could see was over 4
hours old. Now I am accessing through my ISP's list. The latest message is a
few minutes old! But my earlier message has not arrived.

Can any explain, please.

Messages to these newsgroups can be posted at any number of places; they are
then collated. It's possible to post to one place and not have it propagated
till several hours later, even though it's going to the same newsgroup.
There are many newsgroup SERVERS that allow posting to the same
newsgroup(s).
