OT: New server HDDs

J

Julian Milano

Just wanted to know the general consensus:

I'm setting up a new machine and would like to use 5x IDE HDDs in a RAID5
setup using a special "box" which is available which is installed into a PC
case and uses 5x IDE controllers.

Would this be a problem for a server running Windows2003 and Exchange 2003?

Our current box is a WinNT4, P3-500 CPU, 512MB RAM with 20GB Ultra-Wide SCSI
drives.
