OT(ish) anytime upgrade US email format

I just got an invite to test the anytime upgrade

The email says :

address only accepts US email format.

What is an US email format? does it require a ZIP code

I think it means you cannot have something like ".uk" or ".au",etc., in the
address.

No. .com has nothing to do with it. It is the country code in your email
