Hi,
Can't seem to get help from Google or understand their Help Files.

When I click on FAVORITES and select a Google Group, it comes up quite
fast!!

But if I try to START A NEW TOPIC, or REPLY, READ MORE, the blue
progress bar freezes after a half inch or so!

SO I try SUBSCRIBING. Still Freezing. I try SIGN IN - Still Freezing.
So I reset my password to the same or different PASSWORD. Still can't
do anything to get into the Group action.

I often find that I must SIGN OUT on some groups in order to
participate in the various functions.

What is the difference between SIGN IN and SUBSCRIBING?

PS: MY PC is otherwise quite speedy!

Can someone give me a simple step by step to-do list when I click on my
My Favorites.....what I should look for, what to do if it's not there,
etc? My 78 year old brain might be turning to gorgonzola cheese
already, who knows? .....ThanX, Mikie

Someone who uses Google Groups to post may come along and help (and I
don't or I would give you the answer), but why not try accessing Usenet
in a better way - by using a real newsreader? Here is information to
help you - and there is no reason your age would keep you from doing
this.

Since you are a web interface, you may not realize that this is really a
newsgroup. You will get far more out of this resource if you learn to
use a newsreader. There are many good newsreaders for Windows, but you
can use Outlook Express since you already have it. Here are some links
to information about newsgroups:
