OT: Gates Pays Off McNealy

[FYIS.org/estore]

Now that Bill Gates has paid off Scott McNealy for all his
complaining over the past decade about why Scott's company is failing
(btw, with $1.6B, about 1 month's worth of MS free cash flow), maybe
Scott will stop moaning and get down to keeping his company from going
out of business.

NEW YORK (CBS.MW) - Sun Microsystems reached a $1.6 billion antirust
and patent settlement with rival Microsoft.
Sun Microsystems also named a new chief operating officer and issued a
profit warning for the third quarter.
Wall Street had been expecting a loss of 3 cents per share, according
to a survey of analysts by Thomson First Call.
