I just d/led f-prot for dos. Can I run it in a dos window or
do I have to bring up the machine in dos mode before running it?
Do I have to "stop on access protection" of avast before using
f-prot? Thanks, He2

Either way. Do not use it on NT based OS even if the file system
is FAT32. Use it only in conjuction with Win 9X/ME.

It would be best to disable it when scanning with F-Prot.

There is a commandline version for WinNt/200x/XP called fpcmd.exe. It is
not interactive: you have to include all required parameters in the
command line.
