F-Prot false error message

I posted this to F-Prot, attached the file to them, no answer. I posted
to Frisk (FProt) in the discussion group, no answer.

For some reason, F-Prot terminates at my "minivideopoker" executable
file with a false error message.
If I move it off the hard drive to a floppy. Then run F-Prot,
everything runs fine, a normal complete scan.
The minipoker exe has always worked fine as a program.

This is the error message:

F-Prot won't run if it is present on the hard drive.
Any idea why F-Prot reports this false error, and what to do
about it?

Mike, if it's only with that one file, then it is likely to be something
within the file itself, and not F-Prot (or not directly anyway). You may
want to contact the minivideopoker.exe developers to see if they know
anything about it.....

It's not a "false error". For some reason, the .exe file causes F-Prot
to crash. There's apparently a bug in F-Prot which needs to be fixed.

Is this F-Prot for DOS? If so, is my FP-UP program being used perhaps?
If so, have you tried running F-Prot "straight" without my program
shelling it?

It is on the "to-do" list - tracking down those (rare)
Causeway-extender crashes is somewhat difficult, but we will get
around to it.
