Interesting. Maybe it's OS specific reboots? I use Win/98.
Since they started the new small updates, I've noticed they don't
always automatically update when the download is finished. I have to
exit the program back to the taskbar, then pop it up again and then it
runs the update. Perhaps in this case it also required an unnecessary
reboot?
Strange, but nothing I can't live with. I'm going to explore Avast,
AntiVir and others anyway in case AVG goes non-freeware shortly.

As far as I remember some people reported on acf that Grisoft, AVG's
editor, stated that there would be a freeware version of AVG 7.
Regarding Antivir, each update is about 1500 kb large. Yet, the
editor has improved the update installation ; before the update
installation led to a full program installation. Now the update
installation is much quicker.
