(OT) Avast Antivirus Free and Pro has a new version out to 5.0

I tried the free on one of my test machines
It is pretty good but the only thing I do not like about it is that it
doesn't in the free version do automatic scheduled scans

incdient or infection. good stuff!

I am using the new free version now and believe it will indeed do "scheduled
scans" if you go to SCAN NOW | CREATE CUSTOM SCAN | SCHEDULING . Have a
look and see if you have that capability on your version...I do.

Robin, Were you able to initiate a scheduled scan from the info I found in
the program?
