OT: Approach File Passwords

I hope someone can help.

I've been given an old Approach database, and I've been asked to
convert it to access. Unfortunately, the file is password protected
and th eperosn who wrote it, no longer works for the company.

My question is, does anyone know of a way / program / back-door to
allow you to either bypass the password, or get it out of the database
itself?

You probably would get information like that from an Approach newsgroup.

The problem is Bill, I can't find any Approach NGs.

I'm using Google at work, and I've tried search for Approach, but can't
find anything to do with Lotus Approach.

Does anyone know of any?

You can find password recoverers for Approach on the web. I found 2 ranging
from $20-30 by searching Ask.com for Lotus Approach password
