All,

I am thinking of upgrading my laptop and i am considering 64BIT.

Anyone done this? any problems with visual studio / SQL / windows 2003
server, e.g. any problems with general development.

Cheers

Steve

well last MS product support 64bit veery well.
However .NET 1.1 is not optimized for 64 bits, meaning it runs as fast as
the 32 nit version :-(

Anyway 256Mb of memory for a developer computer, it's quite mean...
I will upgrade to at least 512Mb (1Gb would be perfect)

I was looking at 2GIG ram :)

If you're in a war, instead of throwing a hand grenade at the enemy, throw
one of those small pumpkins. Maybe it'll make everyone think how stupid
war is, and while they are thinking, you can throw a real grenade at them.
