I am using IE6 on Windows XP pro. I keep alot of favorites and most are
organized in folders. However when I create new folders they are allways at
the bottom of the favorites list in IE. The only way to get the folder into
the right alphabetical order with the other folders is left click and drag
them up into the right place. I've tried the "organize" feature under
favorites and I've tried MS Explore but with no success. Any thoughts will
be appreciated.

Hi,
From Start> Favorites or Favorites on the IE toolbar (not the Favorites
pane)
Click on a Favorites folder and when the list expands, right-click one and
choose "Sort by name." If this doesn't work, you may have too many Internet
shortcuts in that folder. See:

With the IE dropdown list (not the side panel), right-click in the
folder area, choose "sort by name", which is located second from the
bottom..

You can download a permanent alphabetical registry fix from Kelly's
Korner for your favorites and start menu, but new folders and URLs
will still go to the bottom first.
