Organize a BIG mp3

Is there a freeware prog that will break a big mp3 file to individual
tracks.
One that maybe listens for the silence between tracks to achieve this.
Rather a lot to ask of freeware?

I believe Audacity decodes and reencodes the mp3's, thereby degrading the
sound quality. Mp3DirectCut has a pause detection function and can split
mp3's with no reencoding.

I'll second this recommendation. I've used Direct Cut to slice up 70mb
files with no problem. Its small size is also a big plus.

Thankyou gentlemen. The files on that site are positivley miniscule..
minis..... *very* small.
