OReilly Word Hack: Repeat a section heading across pages, not work

Hi,

I'd like to create a repeating section heading to make a manual book. I want
to have this heading at the top of all pages:

Instructor Manual version 2.0
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
[paragraph...]

From OReilly Word Hack, it says:
1. Select the text I want to make the section heading
2. Convert into table (1 row)
3. Go to Table Properties, under Row tab, click the check box for "Repeat as
header row at the top of each page"

After that, it should work, but it doesn't. Anyone knows what I did wrong?
Thank you.

Hi Lito -

The instructions you cited pertain to having the header row of a table
repeat in the first row if the table crosses a page break.

What you want is a regular document header: go to View>Header & Footer. You
might also want to take a look at the subject in Word Help for more
information.
