when I use the wizard "order prints online" there are no pictures to select,
although there are many in the folder.

I did suspect that entry at first, but was not 100% sure that it's the ultimate cause. Thanks for posting that.

I changed this key :
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\.jpg]
"PerceivedType"="image"
@="IviIHTPICTURE.MediaFile"
"Content Type"="image/jpeg"
into :
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\.jpg]
