No pictures show up in Online Print Wizard (OPW)

In trying to use the online print wizard functionality on my XP machine
(with the latest updates installed), I am unable to see any pictures in the
wizard. I start this from a folder that has jpg images already there, but
the wizard fails to find any images. What could be wrong?
