Order numbers in Forms?

Is it possible to somehow have a field in an order form,
so that each time a visitor places an order, a new order
number is generated automatically?
 
You have to be more specific.

This is usually somehing you configure in the database,
and not in the form.

In Access, for example, you add an AutoNumber field to the
database table.
