Is there any special ways to optimize pictures, such as in a photo gallery,
after they have been installed on the web site? My pages are downloaded to
slow and I want to see if optimization will help. Thanks

If you mean make them smaller in width and length,
you can use the free IrfanView to resize / resample them.
However you will have to republish the modified images.

I'm not familiar with IrfanView.
I know I can use many different tools. Even photo editor or the Microsoft
Picture Viewer too. I thought FP2003 would have some way of do this
automatically... seeing since it makes a point of telling you what pages
load to slow.

After they are in FP, all is not lost. You can still edit them with a photo
editor and put them back into FP. But don't try to do any photo work with
FP. It's not a photo editor.
