Optimizing cell height and width

I have an excel document that is full cells of text, is there way to
get excel 2007 to discover the optimal width and height for the rows
and cells, wrapping the text when necessary.

Its a rather large file and some of the cells have one character in
them while others have three or four sentences.

Maybe not what you want but try this

You can select for example column A (click on the column header)
Then use the Ctrl + Shift + the right arrow
All columns are selected now

Double click on the line between the header of column A and B and Excel will autofit the columns

You can do the same for rows (select whole rows first)

How do you define optimal width and height? Or I should say how do you want
Excel to define them?
