I saw somewhere I can turn this feature on or off but cannot find it. Can
someone please tell me how to find it? Thanks.

Its in the General section of TweakUI for Windows XP. It can also be set
manually in the Registry. Click Start, Run and go to:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\OptimalLayout

Look in the right pane for a value called EnableAutoLayout If the value
exists, you can modify it. Set it to 1 to optmize the drive, 0 to turn this
feature off. A reboot may be required.

Thanks for the info. Is it best to leave it enabled or does it use alot
of resources? Thanks.
