Optical Mouse right click not working

Hi,
I have a SONY VAIO laptop. I have USB wheel optical mouse and
Intellipoint 5.2. Suddenly the rightclick button is not working.
Please let me know the steps to resolve this issue.

It could just be that the right button has died - can you borrow
another USB mouse to try?

Test it in another computer. If it doesn't work, buy a new mouse.
