Opportunity / Account & Contact open

Is there a way to open the Account/Contact in the Opportunity form?
While viewing an Opportunity, I'd like to just click on the
Account/Contact to open them so I know how to contact them with an
email address or phone number.

How stupid am I? Or is this a complete oversight by MS?

John,

This "stupidity" or "oversight" is not on your part. There currently is no
live link FROM the Opportunity record TO the linked Business Contact and/or
Account record. From a real world user workflow perspective, this design
limitation is a no brainer yet it has existed for over 2 years.

You can draw your own conclusions as to why this exists on your own.
