Opinions wanted: What's the best VNC server/viewer?

Haven't tried TightVNC or RealVNC, but I'm using UltraVNC (and its
"Single Click" feature) and IMHO it's great.

I'm happy with RealVNC. I use it on over 200 systems here at work, no

2) Ultra VNC supports encryption (real vnc does not out of the box only with
a plugin)
3) Ultra VNC supports resizing of the window (shrink)
4) UltraVNC supports file transfer

There is a free license. It is also so cheap it's not far off being free @
£16ish per seat.

2) Ultra VNC supports encryption (real vnc does not out of the box only with
a plugin)

RealVNC supports AES without any plugins.

3) Ultra VNC supports resizing of the window (shrink)

RealVNC supports window resizing with or without aspect ratio locking.

4) UltraVNC supports file transfer

RealVNC 4.2 has just been released with file transfer.

Can you tell I like RealVNC? ;-)

There's a lot of difference between the free version and the other
versions. Take a look at http://www.realvnc.com/download.html, no file
transfer and no desktop scaling available in the free version.
