During Setup/installation, Windows creates an "Admin Account", and at least
one "user account". You have obviously entered something in password field.
You are required to enter password and confirm. What did you type in password
field??

Also, on boot up after setup/install, it should go to "User Account" you
created. I think the "User Account" can also be pasword protected during
setup. not +++

So what is password??? don't tell me. try to remember what you did!!

Hey! I have understood your problem, I think while setup you or somebody else
might have provided a PASSWORD for the user account which you might dont know.

So, you tried to re-install your OS, but nothing happened. But i must tell
you my friend that re-installing Windows consist of two options.

One is "Upgrade" and the other is "New Installation". So, in case you have
tried the "Upgrade" option, i must tell you that this method is incapable of
reseting the password. So, you must try the other option.

And while trying the other option, specify the target drive as the same
where you already installed previously.

Note: It is recommended that you delete the "Documents and Settings" folder
from another OS (either DOS or if you have any other OS installed) contained
in the drive where you installed the OS.

Good-luck...

If you didn't put in a password when you installed windows , just hit enter
without putting in any password

So, simply enter the password that you created during the installation
process.
