Operating disk backup

I have recently purchased a slave 120 gig hard drive and I have partitioned
it to reflect 3 additional drives. What I would like to do is make a mirror
image of my operating C drive to one of the partitions using Norton Ghost.
If my C drive should fail I would like to be able to boot from my mirror
copy. Is this possible or would it just be easier to make a mirror copy
hard drive, remove it, and physically exchange it if and when my C drive
fails?

I am using Windows XP for home and Norton System Works 2003.

Thanks

Go to run,type:cmd
At the curser type:DiskPart
Then type:HELP or CREATE MIRROR VOLUME
The utility creates all for xp,the info are fairly self
explain.
If the disk has unnallocated space on the drive, you can
also go to run,type:diskmgmt.msc
You dont need norton for utilitys xp already has
Click on the space and select options
