Opening up web page (html file) in Powerpoint 2007 shows blank scr

When attempting to open up a simple html file containing mainly text in
Powerpoint 2007, I am getting a blank slide. I used to be able to open this
html file fine in Powerpoint 97-2003.

Any ideas?

Thank you for replying to my question. You can test this out using this URL:
http://apache.org

You'll notice that none of the text appears when opening up in Powerpoint
2007.
