opening unavailable files

I have just installed a version of Office 2003, If i type up a document and
then save it, when i try to open the same document again later it says that
that file is not available, so i tried other word documents that i had on my
computer, but it wouldn't open any of them saying that the doucments were not
available, Please help!!

Disable the Office Plugin that comes with Symantec/Norton AntiVirus. See

I am having the same problem. I have found that if I right click on the file
and open it with Wordpad it works. I am trying to find out how to open them
in Word.
