Opening PPS files and images are upside down

I am browsing through a number of old PPS files and generally the images (not
text) are upside down.
I have found references to this and have edited the registry to provide a
(microsoft) recommended fix for a flip dword=1. However this does not do it.
The fix is for PPT and does not specifically mention PPS format.
Does anyone have any other ideas please?
I am using Powerpoint 2003 with latest revs and updates.
I have recently reinstalled all software on this machine since I had to
replace the hard drive. I do not notice this behaviour on my other local
computers (laptop at home) etc.

I'm sorry, I should have mentioned that I have also applied than add-in, and
it didn't make a difference.

I find that if I open the PPS in Powerpoint2003, then the images are the
right side up.
It is when I click on the PPS from the file explorer that the system says it
is installing the necessary feature to run the file, then the pictures come
in upside down, in spite of all that I have done.
So I think there is something specific to that interaction - i.e. exploring
the PPS. I am sure I can work around this somehow, but if there is a fix it
would be great.

BTW, the links from this site didn't work in your email for some reason, so
it was not easy to get back to the posting. Maybe I have a "bad" security
setting or something.
